Think about voodoo and your hair stands on end

If you are a person who thinks about things in a very rational way, then you certainly cannot be associated with anything as crazy and outlandish as voodoo. But for those of us who love to romanticize on all sorts of things, voodoo has always been a field that is not only intriguing, but quite frightening as well.
In days gone by, in a country like India, there were people who practised this art of sorcery. They were able to cause a lot of pain and suffering to those unfortunate souls who were their victims or targets. Over a period of time, when people in villages started becoming a little more aware of what was going on around them and when they realised that literacy could show them the way out of this darkness, the voodoo specialists or witch doctors began losing their ground.
Today, there are still some pockets in India that are clearly in the grips of quite a few so called god men and god women, who use evil arts like sorcery, witchcraft, voodoo and all sorts of kinds of black magic to create a fear psychosis in the minds of those who are illiterate and not capable of higher levels of thinking.
